Our Story.

We didn’t set out to build Komini.

When we started Komini we weren’t building a company—we were chasing a conviction: that African founders deserve better support. We had a thesis: that community, coaching, and capital—delivered in the right way—could change the game for a million entrepreneurs across the continent. Seven months and fifty founders later, that thesis has become a mission that gets us out of bed every morning.

Komini is rooted in 20 years of lived experience. From building Cellulant across 18 markets—with all the scale, scars, and soul work it required—to shaping Pani, a private circle for founder coaching and capital, we’ve spent years listening, refining, and building what we wish we had.

And through it all, one truth kept showing up:
